Nizamabad: Bike Theft Suspect Stabs Constable to Death

A shocking incident took place in Nizamabad when a bike theft suspect fatally attacked a police constable with a knife.

According to reports, the accused, identified as Riyaz, was being taken to the police station by Constable Pramod (42). The incident occurred near Vinayak Nagar.

Police said that Riyaz suddenly pulled out a knife and stabbed Constable Pramod while he was riding with his nephew. After attacking the constable, the accused also assaulted Pramod’s nephew and later attacked a Sub-Inspector (SI) named Vithal with the same weapon. Riyaz then managed to flee along with two of his associates.

Constable Pramod was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries. His nephew is said to be out of danger.

The tragic death of Constable Pramod has left his family devastated. He is survived by his wife and three children.

Police have launched a massive search operation to track down Riyaz and his accomplices. Senior officials confirmed that the case is being investigated thoroughly and assured that the culprits will be brought to justice.
