A new development has emerged in the case of the demolished Mustafa Qadri Mosque in Sambhal district. Police have registered an FIR against seven people associated with the mosque committee after an “I Love Muhammed” poster and a green flag were reportedly found at the site.

The mosque, located in Kaserua village, was recently demolished by the administration after it was allegedly found to have been constructed on cemetery land. The demolition was carried out following a court order.

According to police officials, the poster and green flag were recovered from inside the demolished structure during the operation. The items have been seized, and authorities are investigating who placed them there.

Sambhal police officials said a case has been registered against seven individuals as part of the ongoing inquiry. Police officer Krishna Kumar Bishnoi stated that the investigation is continuing and further legal action will be taken based on the findings.

Another official, Kuldeep Singh, said the FIR was filed based on items recovered during the demolition process.

Local residents claimed that the mosque had existed for several decades and that regular prayers were held there before it was demolished. They also said a large police force was deployed in the area during the operation.

Meanwhile, Sambhal Member of Parliament Ziaur Rahman Barq reacted to the issue, saying that he would never stop saying “I Love Muhammad.”
