Private Bus Catches Fire on Hyderabad-Vijayawada Highway in Nalgonda

A major accident was narrowly avoided after a private bus caught fire on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway in Telangana’s Nalgonda district.
The incident took place near Peddakaparthi village in Chityal mandal. The bus was traveling from Hyderabad to Kakinada when flames suddenly broke out while it was on the road.
The driver and cleaner noticed the fire and immediately stopped the vehicle. They quickly evacuated all passengers from the bus, preventing any loss of life.
At the time of the incident, 36 passengers were on board. While everyone escaped safely, all the luggage carried by the passengers was completely destroyed in the fire.
Preliminary reports suggest that a short circuit may have caused the fire. Authorities are investigating the exact reason behind the incident.
The timely action of the bus staff helped avert a major tragedy and ensured the safety of all passengers.
