Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades Seize Weapons from Israeli Soldiers

Gaza, 10 July – (PIC): The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced that their fighters launched a brave attack on Israeli forces in eastern Khan Younis, specifically in the Abasan Kabira area.

According to their statement, several Israeli vehicles and soldiers were targeted, resulting in deaths and injuries. A Merkava tank and an armored vehicle were destroyed using Yassin 105 missiles, causing major losses to the Israeli army.

The fighters said they saw helicopters arriving to evacuate wounded Israeli soldiers, showing how unprepared and shocked the Israeli army was by the sudden attack.

During the operation, the fighters tried to capture an Israeli soldier alive, but due to battlefield conditions, they killed him instead and took his weapon.

Earlier the same day, Al-Qassam also detonated a landmine against Israeli forces in central Khan Younis (Harat al-Bayouk), when soldiers were returning from the frontline. That explosion killed and injured several Israeli soldiers.

Al-Qassam confirmed that as long as Israel continues attacks and genocide in Gaza, the Palestinian resistance will fight on all fronts. Their operations have repeatedly stopped Israeli advances and caused heavy losses.
