High Alert in Hyderabad: Bomb Threats Reported in Several Areas of the City

Hyderabad, 8 July – (www.deccanlive.com): Panic spread across Hyderabad today after multiple bomb threats were reported at important locations in the city. Unknown persons sent emails claiming that bombs were planted at:

  • Raj Bhavan
  • City Civil Court
  • Judge’s Chambers
  • Gymkhana Club
  • Judge’s Quarters

The first threat came through a phone call to the City Civil Court, where an unidentified person said a bomb had been placed inside. Immediately, police evacuated the court staff and began checking the area with bomb squad and dog squad teams.

Soon after, an email was received claiming a bomb was also placed at Raj Bhavan. Police teams rushed to the spot and started a thorough search operation.

Security on High Alert

Due to these continuous threats, the Hyderabad police are on high alert. Searches are ongoing at all the mentioned locations. So far, no bombs have been found, but security measures have been increased across the city.
