Telangana Govt Announces ₹ 5 Lakh Ex-Gratia for Madinah Bus Tragedy Victims

The Telangana Cabinet has expressed deep condolences to the families of those who died in the tragic bus accident in Saudi Arabia. The government has announced that each affected family will receive ₹5 lakh ex-gratia.
The Cabinet also directed that a government team—consisting of Minister Azharuddin, one MLA from AIMIM, and an officer from the Minority Welfare Department—be sent to Saudi Arabia immediately to assist with all necessary procedures.
The government further decided that the burials of the deceased will be carried out in Saudi Arabia.
In addition, the Telangana government will arrange for two members from each affected family to travel to Saudi Arabia to complete formalities and pay their last respects.
The state government said it stands with the families during this extremely difficult time and will provide every possible support.
