A 30-year-old man allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the 16th floor of a residential tower in the Golconda area on Sunday. The incident took place under the limits of the Tolichowki Police Station.

According to police officials, the deceased has been identified as Neeli Praveen, a resident of Attapur. He had been suffering from health-related problems for the past three years and was also facing mental health issues.

Police said Praveen went to Aditya Empress Towers, located near Shaikpet Nala, and jumped from the 16th floor of the building, resulting in his death on the spot.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Syed Fayyaz and Inspector Ramesh Naik stated that Praveen had earlier worked at the Passport Office located near the same towers about two years ago. Police suspect that his familiarity with the area may have led him to come there.
