Train Hits School Van in Tamil Nadu: 3 Students Dead, 10 Injured

Cuddalore, 8 July – (www.deccanlive.com): A tragic accident happened in Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu on Tuesday morning. A school van was hit by a fast-moving train while it was crossing the railway track near Semman Kuppam.

As a result of the collision, the van was thrown to a distance, causing serious damage. Sadly, three students died on the spot, and ten others were injured.

According to officials, the accident happened because there was no guard or safety staff at the railway crossing. This lack of security led to the van being hit by the train.

Police quickly reached the spot and shifted the injured students to a nearby hospital for treatment. Authorities have registered a case and started an investigation into the incident.
