Hyderabad Woman Brutally Murdered in US: Ex-Boyfriend Arrested in Tamil Nadu

A major breakthrough has taken place in the murder case of Hyderabad woman Nikitha Godishala in the United States. Interpol police on Monday arrested the prime suspect, her former boyfriend Arjun Sharma, from Tamil Nadu.
American authorities had already issued an arrest warrant against Arjun Sharma in connection with the case.
Nikitha Godishala, aged 27, was living in Maryland, USA. She had been missing since December 31. On January 3, her body was found inside Arjun Sharma’s apartment. According to US police, Nikitha had multiple stab wounds on her body, raising strong suspicion of murder.
Investigators believe that Arjun Sharma is responsible for her death. However, in a shocking detail, Arjun himself had approached the police on January 2 to file a missing complaint about Nikitha. On the same day, he reportedly returned to India.
After confirming his sudden departure from the US, American police issued an arrest warrant against him. Following this, Interpol coordinated with Indian authorities, leading to his arrest in Tamil Nadu.
Further investigation and legal procedures are currently underway.
