Hyderabad Water Supply Disruption: 18-Hour Interruption Across Several Areas

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has announced an 18-hour disruption in water supply in several parts of the city due to pipeline expansion work along the elevated corridor from Paradise Junction to Dairifarm Road.

The disruption will begin on Monday at 12 PM and continue until Tuesday 6 AM, as part of work being carried out under the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA).

Affected Areas:

  • Residential: Nallagutta, Prakash Nagar, Mekalamandi, Bouddhanagar, Srinivas Nagar, Patigadda Reservoir area
  • Surrounding areas: Bholakpur, Kavadiguda, Seetaphalmandi, Hasmathpet, Ferozguda, Gautamnagar
  • Bulk consumers: South Central Railway, Secunderabad, Military Engineering Services, Begumpet Airport
  • Other affected supply points: Balanray Pump House, Balanray Check Post, Boyinapalli, Railway Colony

The HMWSSB has advised residents and bulk water consumers to use water sparingly during this period to ensure availability until supply is restored.
