Hyderabad: Youth Attacks Police constable with Beer Bottle – Shocking Twist!

Hyderabad, 25 March – (www.deccanlive.com): In Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills, a youth attacked a police constable with a beer bottle. The incident happened when a bike racer named Khaja was riding at high speed from Tolichowki and crashed into a car near Omega Hospitals Road.

Following the accident, an argument broke out between Khaja and the car driver, with both blaming each other. At that moment, police constable Srikanth from Banjara Hills Police Station, who was on duty in the area, noticed the situation and tried to calm them down.

However, Khaja refused to accept his mistake and became aggressive. In a sudden move, he picked up a beer bottle nearby and attacked the constable. After attacking, he attempted to escape.

Constable Srikanth chased him for two kilometers and finally managed to catch and detain him.

After the attack, Banjara Hills police responded quickly and took action against Khaja. Constable Srikanth filed a complaint at the police station, and a case was registered. Since Srikanth was injured, he was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police suspect that Khaja was intoxicated and acted aggressively under the influence of alcohol. The investigation is ongoing.

West Zone DCP Vijay Kumar reacted to the incident and visited the injured constable to check on his health. Srikanth is currently receiving treatment at City Neuro Hospital on Road No. 12, Banjara Hills. Along with the constable, the car driver also filed a complaint against the bike racer, Khaja. Based on the complaint, police have taken Khaja into custody.
