130,000 Palestinians Attend Friday Taraweeh Prayer at Al-Aqsa Despite Israeli Restrictions

Occupied Jerusalem, 15 March – (PIC): Even with strict restrictions by Israeli forces, around 130,000 Palestinians gathered at Al-Aqsa Mosque on Friday night to offer Isha and Taraweeh prayers.

The Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem confirmed that despite the obstacles set by Israeli authorities, a large number of worshippers managed to enter the mosque and perform their prayers.

Israeli forces prevented many young Palestinians from entering Al-Aqsa and tightened restrictions around the mosque. They also blocked access for Palestinians from the West Bank and northern Palestine. However, many worshippers managed to break through the restrictions and reach the mosque.

Meanwhile, on Friday, hundreds of Jewish settlers entered Al-Aqsa under the protection of Israeli forces and performed religious rituals according to Talmudic teachings.
