American Politician Burns Quran, Vows to End Islam – Trump Supporter Valentina Gomez Sparks Outrage
Texas, 27 August – (www.deccanlive.com): A new controversy has erupted in the United States after Republican candidate Valentina Gomez from Texas was seen burning the Holy Quran in a viral video.
The video, posted on social media platform X, shows Gomez using a flame gun to set the Quran on fire. While doing so, she can be heard saying:
“I will end Islam in Texas. Oh God, help me. Muslims are killing and raping to take over Christian countries.”
She also urged people to vote for her, promising that if elected to Congress from Texas’s 31st District in 2026, she would take strong actions against Muslims.
Past Controversies
This is not the first time Gomez has caused outrage. In December 2024, she staged a stunt in New York where she shot at a symbolic statue that she claimed represented “illegal immigrants.” She also called for public executions of migrants involved in crimes.
Her repeated inflammatory remarks have led to several social media bans. Instagram permanently deleted her account, which she later described as proof that she was being silenced for “speaking the truth” and being a “threat to the powerful.”
