Stray Dogs Attack 8-Year-Old Mute Boy in Hyderabad; Chief Minister Revanth Reddy Orders Immediate Action

A shocking incident took place in Shiv Ganga Colony, Hayathnagar, where an 8-year-old mute boy, Prem Chand, was attacked by stray dogs on Tuesday. The child was playing outside his house when a group of 15 to 20 dogs surrounded him and launched a sudden attack.

Local residents rushed to help after hearing the boy’s cries and managed to save him from the dogs. Prem Chand suffered serious injuries and was first taken to Nallakunta Fever Hospital, and later shifted to Niloufer Hospital for better treatment. He is currently receiving care in the emergency ward.

The incident was reported to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, who is presently in Delhi. Responding with strong concern, he issued immediate instructions that the boy must receive the best medical treatment and urgent financial assistance from the government.

The Chief Minister also directed the GHMC Commissioner to personally visit the hospital, meet the child’s family, and ensure all necessary support is provided. He further ordered officials to take strict and swift action to control the stray dog menace in the city so that such tragic incidents do not happen again.
