No Hands, No Limits: 23-Year-Old Graduate Runs Laptop with Feet to Support Family

Hyderabad, 26 July – (www.deccanlive.com): Proving that disability is not a limitation, a 23-year-old youth from Mancherial district, A. Shankar, has turned his challenges into strength. Despite losing both his arms in an electric shock accident during childhood, Shankar uses his feet to perform tasks that others do with their hands – including operating a laptop, writing, and even working for a living.
Shankar, who lost his father at an early age, was raised by his mother, who worked as a laborer to support her three sons. After the accident, with community support, he resumed schooling and learned to write with his feet. This year, he successfully completed his B.Com degree.
Apart from studies, Shankar also works using his feet to help support his family. He plants trees, rides a bicycle, and actively participates in various competitions, proving that determination can overcome any obstacle.
His story stands as an inspiration for youth, showing that with willpower and hard work, nothing is impossible.
