AP: Woman Home Guard Commits Suicide with Her Son by Jumping into Canal
Anakapalle, 10 February – (DeccanLive.com): In Anakapalle district of Andhra Pradesh, a woman home guard took her own life by jumping into a canal along with her 6-year-old son. The incident occurred in the Tammapal area of the district.
It is reported that the woman, identified as Jhansi, took this extreme step due to constant harassment by her husband.
Jhansi worked as a home guard at the Anakapalle DSP office. She had been married to Achyutha Rao from Qasim Kota 12 years ago. The couple had a 6-year-old son named Dinesh Karthik.
According to the police, the woman had a heated argument with her husband, after which she tragically took her own life along with her son.
