Telangana BJP Opposes Merger of Municipalities Into GHMC, Calls It a Move to Benefit AIMIM

Telangana BJP President Ramchander Rao has strongly opposed the state government’s decision to merge several municipalities into the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).

He said the proposed merger is unscientific and lacks proper planning. He also alleged that the government is doing this only to benefit the AIMIM (Majlis) party.

Ramchander Rao demanded that the government reconsider the decision immediately and take the public’s opinion into account before moving forward.

The BJP leader said his party will continue to oppose the merger and raise the issue at all levels.
