All Set for Jubilee Hills By-Election Polling in Hyderabad Tomorrow

All arrangements have been completed for the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election polling, which will take place on Tuesday morning. The Election Commission has ensured that all measures are in place for smooth and fair polling.

At the DRC Centre in Yousufguda, officials distributed EVMs and polling materials to the staff and assigned polling stations. By Monday evening, all polling teams were expected to reach their respective stations.

District Election Officer R.V. Karnan inspected the arrangements and said that drone surveillance would be used to monitor the election process. He also mentioned that each candidate has been given one polling agent pass.

Chief Electoral Officer Sudarshan Reddy stated that all necessary preparations for the by-election have been completed. Around 139 areas will be monitored using drones, and private drone flying has been strictly prohibited.

A helpline number (1950) has been set up for voter assistance. So far, election materials have been dispatched to 407 centers, according to District Election Officer Karnan.

In total, 2,060 election staff and 2,000 police personnel will be deployed for the polling. The Election Commission will also use webcasting and flying squads to ensure transparency and prevent any irregularities.
