Teenage Couple Dies by Suicide in Telangana Over Fear of Family’s Disapproval

Huzurabad, 17 March – (www.deccanlive.com): A young couple deeply in love feared their families would not accept their relationship. Instead of seeking approval, they made a tragic decision in a moment of distress. Unable to imagine a life apart, they jumped in front of a moving train and died together. This heartbreaking incident took place in Jammikunta Mandal.

Love Story That Ended in Tragedy
Rahul Minugu (18) from Rachapalli, Illandakunta Mandal, worked in a private company. Goleti Shwetha (20) from Erranchinthal, Khanapur Mandal, was a first-year degree student at a women’s college in Karimnagar. The two met on Instagram a few months ago, and their friendship turned into love.

They planned to inform their families and get married, but Rahul was younger than Shwetha. Fearing their families’ rejection, they panicked and made a devastating decision.

Final Moments
On Saturday night, they went to Bizigiri Sharif Railway Station in Jammikunta Mandal. After some time, they moved towards the Papayyapalle Gate and jumped in front of a goods train.

The train driver immediately informed railway police, who recovered their bodies and sent them for post-mortem. Police have registered a case and started an investigation. According to officials, their suicide was linked to their love affair.
