Weather Report: Scorching Heat Continues as Adilabad Records 44°C Temperature

People across Telangana are continuing to face intense summer heat, with temperatures rising sharply in several districts.

According to the Hyderabad Meteorological Centre, the southwest monsoon is expected to reach the Andaman and Nicobar Islands by May 26 and may enter Telangana within four to five days after reaching the Kerala coast.

Weather official Dharamaraju said that temperatures touched 44°C in districts including Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, and Nizamabad.

In districts such as Mahabubnagar, Gadwal, and Narayanpet, temperatures ranged between 41°C and 44°C. Most other districts in the state recorded temperatures around 40°C.

The weather department has also predicted light to moderate rainfall in districts like Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, and Mahabubabad on Saturday.

Officials have advised people to avoid going out during peak afternoon hours and stay hydrated due to the ongoing heatwave conditions.
