Gaza | February 11, 2026 | PIC
At least eight Palestinians were killed in the past 24 hours in Gaza due to continuing Israeli attacks, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
In a statement, the ministry said that the bodies of eight people were brought to hospitals across Gaza during the last day. Among them were three victims whose bodies were recovered from under the rubble of destroyed buildings. In addition, 20 more people were injured in fresh attacks.
The ministry said many victims are still trapped under debris or lying on roads, but ambulance teams and civil defence workers are unable to reach them because of the dangerous situation on the ground.
Officials also stated that since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, 2025, a total of 591 people have been killed and 1,578 injured. During this period, 720 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.
According to the Health Ministry, since the conflict began on October 7, 2023, the total number of Palestinians killed has risen to 72,045, while 171,686 people have been injured.
The situation remains critical as the few hospitals that are still functioning in Gaza continue to receive injured people amid limited medical supplies and severe damage to infrastructure.
