AIMPLB’s Heartfelt Appeal to Muslims: Register All Waqf Properties Before December 5

Maulana Muhammad Fazlur Raheem Mujaddidi, General Secretary of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), has issued an urgent appeal to Muslims across India, reminding them that the deadline to upload Waqf properties on the government’s UMEED portal is very close.

He said the Board is trying at every level to get the deadline—5 December 2025—extended. However, since no change has been announced yet, only a few days remain, and the number of registered Waqf properties is still very low.

Maulana Mujaddidi requested all Muslims to give immediate attention to this issue and register their Waqf properties on the UMEED portal without delay. He urged community members to temporarily set aside other tasks and take active part in completing this important responsibility.

He added that proper coordination is needed at district, block, and panchayat levels to ensure that all Waqf properties—dedicated by the ancestors of the community—are registered and protected. Ignoring this issue, he warned, could result in great loss for future generations.

Maulana Mujaddidi also appealed to people to pray that Allah grants courage and unity to safeguard Waqf properties and protects them from any harmful intentions.

The appeal was officially released by Dr. Mohammed Vaquar Uddin Latifi, Office Secretary of the AIMPLB.
