Bihar Election Victory Is a Tight Slap to AIMIM Critics: Akbaruddin Owaisi
AIMIM Floor Leader and Chandrayangutta MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi said that the party’s victory in the Bihar elections is a “tight slap” to all those who criticize AIMIM and call it the agent or B-team of other political parties. He said this clearly while speaking at a public meeting on Saturday.
Akbaruddin stated that whichever government comes to power in the state always seeks friendship with AIMIM, and this shows the strength and influence of the party. He added that the “magic” of AIMIM continues to impress people.
He inaugurated the newly constructed junior college building, conference hall, library, and computer lab at the Dr. Nooruddin Owaisi Educational Campus, which was developed under the Salar-e-Millat Educational Trust in Hafiz Baba Nagar in the Old City. Before the event, he also took part in a padayatra.
Speaking at the gathering, Akbaruddin congratulated AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi for the party winning five Assembly seats in Bihar. He also mentioned the victory of Naveen Yadav, the candidate supported by AIMIM in the Jubilee Hills by-election.
He said, “Some people said that after Revanth Reddy became Chief Minister, the work of AIMIM would be finished. But he surprised everyone by extending a friendly hand towards us.”
“I am tired… I want to take rest” – Akbaruddin Owaisi
Akbaruddin Owaisi emotionally shared that he has been elected as MLA six times, and people have always shown him great love and support. He said he established several educational institutions for the benefit of poor children, fulfilling many of his dreams.
However, he added:
“I am very tired now. I want to take rest. I wish that a strong leader should come forward to take my place in the party. If that happens, I am ready to step aside and live a peaceful life. I want to spend the rest of my life watching the schools I have built grow and serve the community.”
He hinted that he may soon step away from active politics if the party finds a capable successor.
