Mohammad Azharuddin Takes Oath as Telangana Minister; Swears in the Name of Allah

Former Indian cricket captain and senior Congress leader Mohammad Azharuddin was sworn in as a Minister of State in the Telangana government on Friday.
The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan, where Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan (Jishnu Dev Varma) administered the oath of office. Azharuddin took his oath in the name of Allah. The ceremony took place in the presence of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
Prominent leaders including Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud attended the ceremony as special guests.
Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Damodar Rajanarasimha, T. Nageswara Rao, P. Srinivas Reddy, several MLAs, MLCs, Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, DGP Jitender, and Khalq-ur-Rehman were also present.
After the ceremony, Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, CM Revanth Reddy, and several ministers congratulated Azharuddin on his induction into the cabinet.
Interestingly, the event began exactly at 12:25 PM and concluded in just nine minutes. Meanwhile, speculation continues over which department Azharuddin will be assigned in the Telangana cabinet.
