Azharuddin Hits Back at Critics, Says Kishan Reddy Lacks Proper Understanding About Him

Newly sworn-in Telangana Minister Mohammad Azharuddin expressed his happiness after being inducted into the state cabinet, thanking Congress leadership and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for the opportunity.
Speaking to the media after taking oath, Azharuddin responded to the criticism made by BJP and BRS leaders. He dismissed the allegations against him, saying they were completely baseless.
“All the accusations made against me are false. The BJP and BRS leaders’ comments have no truth in them. Union Minister Kishan Reddy doesn’t have proper knowledge or understanding about me. None of the cases filed against me have been proven,” Azharuddin clarified.
The former Indian cricket captain also expressed confidence that the Congress Party would win the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-election.
“I’m thankful to the Congress leadership for trusting me. I’m ready to handle any department assigned to me as Minister,” he added.
