Attempted Rape in Hyderabad Hospital: Ward Boy Tries to Assault Woman Patient

Hyderabad, 14 July – (www.deccanlive.com): Even hospitals are no longer safe for women. A shocking incident took place in the heart of Hyderabad, where a ward boy attempted to sexually assault a woman patient who was lying on a hospital bed receiving treatment.

The incident happened at Andhra Mahila Sabha Hospital in Vidyanagar. The accused, a ward boy, tried to assault the woman patient during her stay. The woman raised an alarm by screaming, which alerted her relatives and the hospital staff.

Her family members rushed to the spot and caught the ward boy, beating him before handing him over to the police. A complaint was filed at the Nallakunta Police Station, and a case has been registered. The police have taken the accused into custody and begun an investigation.

The victim’s family has demanded strict punishment for the accused, who tried to commit such a heinous act within the hospital premises.
