Hyderabad: Moon Not Sighted, 30th of Muharram on July 26 – Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Announces

Hyderabad, 26 July – (Hussamuddin Riaz): The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee of Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Deccan announced that the moon for the month of Safar-ul-Muzaffar 1447 Hijri was not sighted today.

The monthly meeting, held under the supervision of Maulana Syed Hassan Ibrahim Husaini Sajjad Pasha, confirmed that due to rain and cloudy skies in Hyderabad and several other parts of the country, the moon was not visible. Reports from areas with clear skies also confirmed no sighting.

As per Sharia guidelines, the committee declared that Saturday, July 26, 2025, will be the 30th of Muharram.

The meeting was attended by prominent scholars, including Maulana Mufti Khaleel Ahmed, Maulana Syed Mahmood Badshah Qadri, Maulana Syed Muhammed Awliya Husaini Qadri, Maulana Dr. Syed Ali Husaini Qadri, Maulana Syed Wasiullah Qadri, Qazi Syed Noorullah Farooqui, and others.
