A shocking case has rocked Kerala after a 24-year-old IT professional allegedly took his own life, leaving behind a suicide note that accuses senior RSS leaders of repeated sexual assault and harassment. The revelations have triggered a nationwide uproar and renewed scrutiny over activities inside Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) camps.

According to reports, the victim, identified as Anandu Aji, shared a disturbing social media post before his death. In it, he alleged that several RSS leaders had sexually abused him multiple times, leaving him deeply traumatized. He also claimed that he was not the only victim, alleging that such abuse was common in RSS camps across the country.

The post quickly went viral, sparking widespread outrage and demands for a thorough investigation.

Political Reactions

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reacted strongly to the incident, demanding a full and impartial investigation. Calling the allegations “deeply disturbing and horrifying if true,” she wrote on social media platform X that “Anandu was not alone”, suggesting that sexual exploitation of boys in RSS camps could be a widespread issue.

Priyanka Gandhi emphasized that sexual abuse of boys is just as serious as that of girls and urged authorities and society to break the silence surrounding such crimes. “Millions of young boys attend these camps. Their safety must be the top priority,” she said, calling on the RSS leadership to respond transparently and take action against those responsible.

Further Reactions and Police Probe

V.K. Sanoj, state secretary of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), also condemned the incident and demanded severe punishment for those involved. He urged the immediate arrest of managers and organizers of the RSS branches mentioned in Anandu’s post.

Meanwhile, Kerala Police have launched a preliminary investigation into the circumstances leading to Anandu’s death. Officials said the probe would also look into the allegations of sexual assault and misconduct within RSS camps.

The shocking claims have led to mounting political and social pressure for a wider investigation into the functioning of RSS-run youth and training camps.
