BJP MLA Raja Singh Criticizes Telangana Government’s Early Leave for Muslim Employees During Ramzan

Hyderabad, 18 February – (www.deccanlive.com): BJP MLA Raja Singh criticized the Telangana government for allowing Muslim employees to leave work early at 4 p.m. during the upcoming Ramzan month. This decision, which happens every year, lets Muslim workers in government jobs, schools, and public sectors leave early to pray from March 2 to March 31.

Raja Singh questioned Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, asking if similar benefits are given to Hindus during festivals like Ugadi. He accused the government of favoring Muslims and neglecting Hindu festivals. He also compared the current and former Chief Ministers to the Nizams, suggesting they favor one community over others.

Singh warned that the Congress party, if in power, might restrict Hindu festivals in the future. He promised that if the BJP comes to power, such privileges would be stopped.
