JEE Main 2026 Results: Three Telugu Students Score 100 Percentile Among 12 National Toppers

The results of JEE Main 2026 (Session 1) were announced on Monday evening, bringing proud moments for Telugu states. Three students from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana secured a perfect 100 percentile in the prestigious national-level engineering entrance examination.

Across India, a total of 12 students achieved 100 percentile in JEE Main 2026. Among them, two students are from Andhra Pradesh and one from Telangana.

The Telugu toppers are Narendra Babu (Andhra Pradesh), Pasala Mohith (Andhra Pradesh), and Vivan Sharad Maheshwari (Telangana). In the Open category, Pasala Mohith secured 100 percentile, while Narendra Babu emerged as a top scorer in the OBC category.

  • Purohit Nirmay (Gujarat)
  • Vivan Sharad Maheshwari (Telangana)

The JEE Main Paper 1 examination was conducted on January 21, 22, 23, 24, and 28. Around 13.5 lakh candidates registered for the exam nationwide, and approximately 95 percent of them appeared for the test.

The results for Paper 2, which was conducted on January 29, are expected to be announced soon.

The outstanding performance of Telugu students has once again highlighted the strong academic presence of the region in national-level competitive exams.
