A shocking incident took place in the Nagole police station limits, where a 400-year-old Qutb Shahi–era graveyard and the Dargah of Hazrat Matto Shah Baba (RA) were allegedly damaged. Several graves were reportedly bulldozed and flattened, causing widespread anger among the local Muslim community.

According to media reports, the graveyard is located in Tatti Annaram, Abdullapurmet Mandal, and is considered a sacred site for the local population. The matter came to light when residents visited the graveyard and found multiple graves destroyed.

Eyewitnesses claim that the demolition was allegedly carried out by the management of a nearby private school, leading to tension and distress in the area. Locals immediately informed the police and registered an official complaint at the Nagole Police Station.

AIMIM MLC Mirza Rahmat Baig Qaudri, along with local residents, reached the police station and held detailed discussions with SHO Maqbool Jani. They demanded strict legal action against those involved in disrespecting the graves and urged police to file a case and arrest the responsible persons.

Expressing strong anger, Mirza Rahmat Baig said,
“This graveyard is a historical symbol from the Qutb Shahi era. Demolishing graves is not only illegal but also deeply hurts the religious sentiments of Muslims.”

Corporators Hussain Pasha (Kishan Bagh) and Abdul Rahman (Kanchan Bagh) were also present. Locals, along with AIMIM leaders, staged a strong protest against the illegal act.

Police have begun an investigation into the incident. Meanwhile, residents warned that if strict action is not taken, they would organize a larger protest in the coming days.
