Apply Now: Telangana Govt Starts Online Applications for ₹3 lakhs Self-Employment Scheme
Hyderabad, 17 March – (www.deccanlive.com): The Telangana government has announced a new scheme called “Rajiv Yuva Vikasam” to support unemployed youth from SC, ST, BC, and Minority communities. The application process for this scheme will start from March 17. Under this scheme, the government will provide self-employment loans up to ₹6 lakhs per person. Interested youth can apply online till April 5, 2025.
Financial Help Details:
- Eligible youth can receive loans ranging from ₹3 lakhs to ₹6 lakhs.
- The government plans to spend ₹6,000 crores to provide loans to about 5 lakh youth across the state this year.
Loan Categories and Subsidies:
- Category 1: Loans up to ₹1 lakh with 80% subsidy. The remaining 20% will be covered by the beneficiary or a linked bank unit.
- Category 2: Loans from ₹1 lakh to ₹2 lakhs with 70% subsidy.
- Category 3: Loans up to ₹3 lakhs with 60% subsidy.
Selection and Distribution:
- Application verification will be done between April 6 and May 31.
- Eligible candidates will receive the loan documents on June 2, Telangana Formation Day.
