The nomination process for the first phase of Telangana Panchayat Elections has officially begun.
Candidates can submit their nomination papers from today until November 29.
Nomination Timings & Verification
- Nominations can be filed between 10:30 AM and 5:00 PM every day.
- The scrutiny of nominations will be held on November 30.
- Candidates can withdraw their papers until December 3.
Polling Details
The first phase will cover:
- 4,236 villages
- 37,450 wards
The final list of contesting candidates will be released on December 3.
Polling will take place on December 11, from 7 AM to 1 PM.
Counting will begin the same afternoon, and the results for ward members and sarpanches will be announced on the same day.
The election process is expected to draw significant participation across rural Telangana.
