Faridabad Shocker: Obsessed Lover Opens Fire on Girl in Faridabad – Caught on CCTV

A shocking incident took place in Faridabad where a young man opened fire on a girl in public when she was returning home from a library. The incident happened on Monday evening and was captured on nearby CCTV cameras.
According to the footage, the accused was standing near a motorcycle waiting. As the girl — a Class 12 student — was walking while talking on her phone, the man suddenly approached her and fired a shot. The video shows people running in panic as the girl collapses in pain.
Police said the injured girl was rushed to a hospital and is now out of danger. Officials confirmed that the attacker knew the girl personally but is currently on the run.
The shooting occurred around 5:30 PM on Monday. Investigating officers said the victim, who studies in a private college, sustained bullet and pellet injuries to her left arm and shoulder.
Police added that after firing the shot, the accused threw away his country-made pistol at the spot and fled on a motorcycle. Multiple police teams are conducting raids to arrest him.
Inspector Shamsher Singh, SHO of City Ballabhgarh Police Station, said the girl told investigators that she had known the man for about a year as he also used to come to the library for study. However, she stopped talking to him about two weeks ago, which reportedly angered him and led to the attack.
