Maulana Sajid Rashid Thrashed in Noida TV Studio for Remarks on Dimple Yadav; Video Goes Viral
Noida, 29 July – (www.deccanlive.com): A video has surfaced showing Maulana Sajid Rashid being assaulted inside a TV studio in Noida. The incident took place after Rashid allegedly made remarks about Mainpuri MP Dimple Yadav.
The video shows Maulana standing in the studio when a group of people suddenly approach and start slapping him. According to reports, those involved in the attack are said to be Samajwadi Party (SP) workers.
The attackers have been identified as Shyam Singh Bhati (National Secretary, SP Advocates’ Association), Mohit Nagar (District President, SP Students’ Union), and Prashant Bhati (State Secretary, SP Students’ Union). They claimed that they could not tolerate the insult of their national leader and punished Rashid for his comments.
The video of the incident is now widely circulating on social media.
