Telangana Government Transfers 20 Senior IPS Officers; Tafseer Iqbal Appointed Additional CP, Hyderabad

The Telangana government has announced major transfers of IPS officers in the state. As part of the reshuffle, 20 senior police officers have been transferred to new postings, according to official orders issued on Tuesday.

Along with these changes, the government has also transferred Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) in four major police commissionerates.

The following transfers and postings are notified:

1. Mr. Tafseer Iqbal, IPS (2008), Joint Commissioner of Police (L&O), Hyderabad City is transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner of Police (L&O), South Range (comprising Shamshabad, Golconda, Rajendranagar & Charminar zones), Hyderabad City.
2. Ms. N. Swetha, IPS (2012), Deputy Commissioner of Police, DD, Hyderabad City is transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner of Police (L&O), North Range (comprising Jubilee Hills, Khairatabad & Secunderabad zones), Hyderabad City.
3. Mr. S.M. Vijay Kumar, IPS (2012), Commissioner of Police, Siddipet is transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner of Police, Special Branch, Hyderabad City.
4. Mr. N. Koti Reddy, IPS (2013), Deputy Commissioner of Police, Medchal Zone is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Qutubullapur Zone in the newly created zone in Cyberabad Commissionerate.
5. Mr. K. Narayana Reddy, IPS (2013), Deputy Commissioner of Police, Maheshwaram Zone is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Maheshwaram Zone in the newly created zone in Future City
   Commissionerate.
6. Ms. Rakshitha K. Murthy, IPS (2015), Deputy Commissioner of Police, CAR Headquarters, Hyderabad City is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Secunderabad Zone in the newly created zone in Hyderabad City commissionerate.
7. Mr. K. Suresh Kumar, IPS (2016), Deputy Commissioner of Police, Balanagar is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Uppal Zone in the newly created zone in Malkajgiri Commissionerate.
8. Mr. Khare Kiran Prabhakar, IPS (2017), Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Zone, Hyderabad City is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Charminar Zone in the newly created zone in Hyderabad City Commissionerate.
9. Dr. B. Anuradha, IPS (2017), Deputy Commissioner of Police, LB Nagar Zone, Rachakonda is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, L.B. Nagar Zone in the newly created zone in Malkajgiri Commissionerate.
10. Mr. Yogesh Goutam, IPS (2018), Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rajendranagar Zone, Cyberabad is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Chevella Zone in the newly created zone in Future City Commissionerate.
11. Ms. Ritiraj, IPS (2018), Deputy Commissioner of Police, Madhapur is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Kukatpally Zone in the newly created zone in Cyberabad Commissionerate.
12. Mr. Ch. Srinivas, IPS (2018), Deputy Commissioner of Police, West Zone, Hyderabad City is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Serilingampally Zone in the newly created zone in Cyberabad Commissionerate.
13. Ms. Sadhana Rashmi Perumal, IPS (2019), Deputy Commissioner of Police, North Zone, Hyderabad City is transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police, Siddipet vice Sri S.M. Vijay Kumar, IPS (2012) transferred.
14. Mr. Ch. Sridhar, IPS (2020), Deputy Commissioner of Police, Malkajgiri, Rachakonda is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Malkajgiri Zone in the newly created zone in Malkajgiri Commissionerate.
15. Ms. K. Shilpavalli, IPS (2020), Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Zone, Hyderabad City is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Khairatabad Zone in the newly created zone in Hyderabad City Commissionerate.
16. Mr. S. Sreenivas, IPS, Superintendent of Police, TG Transco is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rajendranagar Zone in the newly created zone in Hyderabad City Commissionerate.
17. Mr. G. Chandra Mohan, SP (NC) /Deputy Commissioner of Police, South West Zone, Hyderabad City is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Golconda Zone in the newly created zone in Hyderabad City Commissionerate.
18. Mr. A. Ramana Reddy, SP (NC) / Deputy Commissioner of Police, SOT, Rachakonda is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Jubilee Hills Zone in the newly created zone in Hyderabad City Commissionerate.
19. Mr. B. Rajesh, SP (NC)/ Deputy Commissioner of Police, Shamshabad transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Shamshabad Zone in the newly created zone in Hyderabad City Commissionerate.
20. Ms. Ch. Sirisha, Superintendent of Police (NC), Intelligence is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Shadnagar Zone in the newly created zone in Future City Commissionerate.

The government stated that these transfers are part of an administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening law and order across the state.
