Hyderabad City Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar has issued a strong warning that strict legal action will be taken against anyone who attacks or obstructs government employees while they are performing their duties.

Sajjanar posted the warning on X (Twitter), saying that those who trouble police officers, teachers, RTC staff, or any other government officials will face serious consequences under the law.

He stated that attacks or threats against employees on duty will lead to criminal cases under Sections 221, 132, and 121(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). In some cases, history sheets will also be opened against the offenders.

Sajjanar cautioned that even a single criminal case can ruin a person’s future, making it difficult to get a passport or government job.
He added that “a small mistake made in anger can destroy an entire life.”

Authorities have made it clear that any form of violence or obstruction against on-duty government officials will not be tolerated.
