“You started this war, but we will finish it”: Iranian Revolutionary Guard threatens Donald Trump
Tehran, 23 June (www.deccanlive.com): The spokesperson for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Ebrahim Zolfaghari, stated that the United States has now directly entered the war and has violated Iran’s “sacred land.”
He warned that “powerful and targeted operations” will be carried out against the U.S., and it will face “heavy, regretful, and unexpected consequences.”
Speaking directly to the U.S. President in English, the IRGC spokesperson said, “Mr. Trump, gambler! You started this war, but we will finish it!”
Meanwhile, Iranian media released a video showing Iran’s Commander-in-Chief Amir Hatami in an operations room speaking with fellow officers.
In the video, Hatami can be heard saying that whenever the U.S. carried out “criminal acts” against Iran in the past, it always received a “decisive response”—and this time will be no different.
Additionally, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Army, Abdolrahim Mousavi, issued a statement saying that after the American attack, there is now a possibility of “any kind of action” against U.S. troops. He added that Iran “will never back down.”
