Hyderabad: Gomathi Electronics Fire Victim Identified as Mir Sajjad Ali from Khilwat

The person who died in the Gomathi Electronics showroom fire on November 24 in the Old City area of Shah Ali Banda has been identified as Mir Sajjad Ali, a real estate businessman from Khilwat.

According to Moghalpura Inspector Srinu, police found an unidentified man, around 57 years old, lying injured near the showroom after the fire incident. He was immediately shifted to Osmania General Hospital, where doctors confirmed that he had already passed away. Since no details were available, the body was kept in the hospital morgue.

Meanwhile, Mir Sajjad Ali’s family was searching for him. He had left home on his Activa scooter on Monday night and never returned. His son lodged a missing complaint with the police on Wednesday.

When police showed the body to the family, they confirmed that it was Mir Sajjad Ali.

Further investigation is underway.
