KTR Enjoys Irani Chai and Osmania Biscuits at Charminar, Calls It an Essential Old City Experience

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) visited Hyderabad’s historic Charminar area on Thursday and spent some time at the well-known Nimrah Cafe and Bakery, located near the iconic monument.
During his visit, KTR enjoyed the city’s famous Irani chai and traditional Osmania biscuits, which are considered a symbol of Hyderabad’s rich culinary culture.
Several BRS leaders, including Ali Bin Ibrahim Musqati, Mohammed Azam Ali, Inayat Ali Baqri, and S.A. Qaiser, accompanied him during the visit.
KTR’s sudden arrival in the Old City created excitement among residents and visitors around Charminar and nearby areas. Many people gathered to catch a glimpse of the senior BRS leader.
Later, KTR shared his experience on social media platform X, saying that a visit to Hyderabad’s Old City is incomplete without tasting its traditional Irani tea. He wrote that he visited the famous Nimrah Cafe near Charminar and thoroughly enjoyed its Irani chai and Osmania biscuits.
Nimrah Bakery owner Aslam Bin Aboud Al Kathiri warmly welcomed KTR on his arrival. Before leaving, KTR thanked the owner and the entire staff for their hospitality and warm reception.
His appreciation of Hyderabad’s culture, Irani chai, and Osmania biscuits received positive reactions from social media users.
During his Old City visit, KTR also held discussions with party leaders regarding the BRS membership drive in their respective Assembly constituencies. He reportedly advised them to focus on strengthening party membership and closely monitor the ongoing voter list revision process (SIR).
