SIO Slams Telangana CM Revanth Reddy’s Remarks on Muslims as Insulting and Divisive

The Students Islamic Organisation (SIO) of Telangana has strongly condemned Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s recent remarks about Muslims, calling them “insulting, irresponsible, and divisive.”
The organization criticized the CM’s statement – “If there is Congress, there are Muslims; if not, you are nothing” – saying it undermines the dignity and self-respect of the entire Muslim community.
SIO Telangana said in its statement that the true strength and value of any community come from its principles and integrity, not from political power. It added that the Chief Minister’s comments reflect a feudal and vote-bank mentality that tries to monopolize the identity of an entire community for political gain.
The organization demanded that the Chief Minister immediately withdraw his remarks and publicly apologize for what it called a “clear constitutional and moral violation.”
SIO also urged the Election Commission of India to take strict action against such provocative and undemocratic statements that go against the spirit of free and fair elections.
