Gunman Robs ₹80 Lakh Bag in Broad Daylight at Delhi Market

New Delhi, 19 March – (www.deccanlive.com): In a shocking incident in Delhi’s Lahori Gate Market, a man carrying a bag with ₹80 lakh in cash was robbed at gunpoint.

According to reports, the victim was being followed by the suspect. When the victim reached a less crowded area, the robber pulled out a pistol, threatened him, and tried to snatch the bag. When the victim resisted, the robber fired shots in the air, creating panic in the market. People ran in fear, and the robber managed to escape with the money.

Fortunately, the entire incident was caught on CCTV cameras. Police have registered a case and are investigating. The suspect had covered his face to avoid identification, but authorities are analyzing CCTV footage to track him down.

Police believe this was a planned crime, as the robber knew about the cash beforehand. Investigators are checking if an insider was involved.

After the robbery, market traders demanded better security to prevent such incidents. Police have advised people to be careful when carrying large amounts of cash and to seek police help if needed.
