Man Burnt Alive by Wife and Children Over Property Dispute in Telangana’s Jagtial

Jagtial, 16 March – (www.deccanlive.com): A shocking incident took place in Jagtial district, Telangana, where a man was set on fire by his wife and family members after pouring petrol on him, resulting in his death due to severe injuries.

According to reports, the victim, identified as Kamlakar, lived in Polas village in Jagtial Rural Mandal. He already had two wives, who were real sisters. Recently, he married another woman and was living with her in Polas.

On Sunday morning, Kamlakar’s first wife, Jamuna, along with her two sons, Chiranjeevi and Ranjit, daughter Sireesha, and son-in-law Shobhan Babu, confronted him over a property dispute.

During the argument, they attacked Kamlakar with a knife and then poured petrol on him before setting him on fire. He was rushed to Jagtial Government Hospital in a critical condition but succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Police have registered a case and started an investigation into the incident.
