Admin Shot Dead in Pakistan After Being Removed from WhatsApp Group

Peshawar, 9 March – (www.deccanlive.com): A shocking incident took place in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where a man killed a WhatsApp group admin after being removed from the group.

According to police, the incident happened in the Regi area of Peshawar. The suspect is still on the run.

The admin, Mushtaq Ahmed, had removed Ashfaq Khan from the group, which led to a dispute between them.

On Thursday, both agreed to meet and resolve the issue, but as soon as they met, Ashfaq shot and killed Mushtaq. It is still unclear why Ashfaq was removed from the group.

Police Raids Underway to Arrest Suspect

The victim’s brother, Humayun Khan, told the media:
“I was present at the scene, but I had no idea about their dispute. My brother and Ashfaq had some argument in the WhatsApp group, which led to my brother removing him.”

He further said:
“Ashfaq got extremely angry and shot my brother. Our family had no knowledge about their conflict.”

The police have registered a case against Ashfaq and are conducting raids to arrest him.
