ED Raids Anil Ambani’s Delhi and Mumbai Locations in Money Laundering Case

Mumbai, 24 July – (www.deccanlive.com): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out a large search operation at several locations connected to Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani in Delhi and Mumbai.
According to sources, the raids are part of a money laundering investigation.
- 35 locations in Delhi and Mumbai were searched.
- Around 50 companies are under investigation.
- The ED has also questioned 25 people during the operation.
The ED’s initial probe revealed a planned scheme to divert public money by allegedly cheating banks, shareholders, investors, and public institutions.
The case involves loans taken between 2017 and 2019, where Yes Bank reportedly gave around ₹3,000 crore to Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (RAAGA companies).
The ED claims it has uncovered an illegal transaction arrangement, where Yes Bank promoters allegedly received payments from their private companies just before approving these loans.
