Chevella Bus Accident: Mother and Infant Among Victims, Three Sisters Also Killed in Tragic Crash

The horrific Chevella road accident has left behind deep scars, destroying several families and shattering countless lives. Behind every victim lies a heartbreaking story — a mother and her infant daughter who never made it home, three young sisters who lost their lives together, and many others whose dreams ended in tragedy.

Among the victims was 20-year-old Saleha and her two-month-old baby girl. The young mother had boarded the ill-fated bus early in the morning to return to her husband’s home in Hyderabad’s Saidabad area after spending some days at her parents’ house in Indiranagar, Tandur.

Saleha’s husband, Waheed, had married her just last year. What was supposed to be a simple journey back to her marital home turned fatal. Their lifeless bodies — a mother holding her infant — became the most heart-wrenching image from the tragedy, leaving everyone who saw it in tears.

Another painful story was that of Elaya Goud from Gandhinagar, Tandur, who lost his three bright daughters in the same accident. All three were engineering students — one in first year, one in second, and one in third.

Elaya, a hardworking driver, had struggled for years to educate his daughters, hoping they would achieve great success. But fate had other plans — their journey to college that morning became their last.

The three girls — Nandini, Tanusha, and Sai Priya — were among those killed instantly. Their fourth sister, who was not on the bus, is still in disbelief and unable to accept that her sisters are gone forever.

The Chevella accident has left behind not just broken vehicles but broken families, orphaned children, and grief-stricken parents — stories of love, loss, and pain that will haunt many for years to come.
