Mosque Vandalised in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District, Telangana; Copies of Holy Quran Desecrated (Video)

Tension prevailed in Telangana’s Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district after a mosque was allegedly vandalised and copies of the Holy Quran were found damaged.

The incident took place at a mosque located in Jalalpur village under Bommalaramaram mandal. Worshippers who arrived at the mosque on Monday, February 16, were shocked to find the premises in a damaged condition.

According to initial reports, unidentified persons allegedly entered the mosque and caused destruction. The walls were damaged, window glasses were broken, and the washroom doors were also vandalised. Several copies of the Holy Quran were found scattered within the mosque premises, raising serious concern among the local community.

Condemning the incident, Amjed Ullah Khan, spokesperson of Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT), demanded that police immediately register a criminal case and conduct a fair and thorough investigation. He also urged authorities to identify and take strict action against those responsible.

Police officials are yet to release detailed information regarding the incident. Further updates are awaited as the investigation progresses.
