Jubilee Hills By-Election Counting Tomorrow: Results Expected by Noon After 10 Rounds

Hyderabad | November 13, 2025 | DeccanLive.com

The suspense surrounding the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election results will end tomorrow. The vote counting process will begin at 8 AM on Friday at Kotla Vijayabhaskar Reddy Stadium in Yousufguda, with all arrangements already completed by election officials.

Votes from 407 polling stations will be counted in 10 rounds, for which 42 counting tables have been set up. Officials said that although only 14 tables are usually used, the number has been increased this time to ensure a faster counting process, as sufficient staff is available. Only the counting staff, candidates, and their agents will be allowed entry at each table.

The counting will start with postal ballots, including 10 home-voting ballots and 18 service votes, followed by votes from the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). Officials estimate that the first-round result will be out by 8:45 AM, and the final result is expected by 12 noon.

The final voter turnout for the by-election was officially announced as 48.49%, slightly higher than the 47.58% recorded in the 2023 general elections — a rise of 0.91%.

To ensure smooth and peaceful counting, authorities have put in place a three-tier security system at the counting center.
