Telangana Government Sets Up Committee to Regulate Fees in Private Colleges

Hyderabad, 25 July – (www.deccanlive.com): The Telangana government has taken a crucial decision to regulate fees in private colleges across the state. On Friday (July 25), it issued orders to form a Fee Regulation Committee consisting of nine members.

The committee will be headed by Professor Balakrishna Reddy, Chairman of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education.

The government has instructed the committee to study various parameters for the period between 2025 and 2028 and submit a detailed report. It will hold discussions with officials and private college managements before preparing its recommendations.

Based on the committee’s report, the Telangana government will make a final decision on fee regulation in private colleges.
