Kishan Reddy Reacts to BJP’s Defeat in Jubilee Hills, Says AIMIM Support Helped Congress Win

Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy has reacted to the BJP’s defeat in the Jubilee Hills by-election. Speaking to the media in Delhi, he said the party will review and analyse the reasons for their loss. He added that BJP respects the people’s verdict.
Kishan Reddy made strong comments, saying the Congress won only because of AIMIM’s support. He questioned why people should vote for Revanth Reddy and asked what exactly he had done to earn public support.
He said,
“BJP has never won even a corporator seat in Jubilee Hills since Independence. We tried our best. Congress won this election because of AIMIM’s backing and money power. These elections happened under special circumstances, and our party is weak in this area. We will analyse the defeat. In the Old City, no other party wins either. We respect the people’s decision.”
Kishan Reddy also alleged that the state government did not cooperate with the Central Election Commission during the by-election. He said BJP will file a complaint on this issue.
He added that the party is now focusing on the GHMC elections, and their aim is to win the GHMC Mayor’s post. He also reminded that Congress had lost deposits in many seats in previous GHMC polls.
Speaking about national politics, Kishan Reddy said that the people of Bihar have strongly supported Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, giving NDA a big victory.
He accused the Congress of spreading false propaganda about vote theft, which the people rejected.
He also criticised the Congress, saying the party has lost relevance and claimed that Rahul Gandhi has become a laughing stock in the eyes of the public.
